  1. When does the 2024 WPW season start?
  • The 2024 WPW season will start on Thursday 8/1/2024.
  2. What is the practice schedule?
  • Football practices 4 nights a week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6-8pm the first 2 weeks in August and drops to 3 nights the third week in August. 
  • Cheer practices 3 nights a week Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6-8pm in August. In September, cheer moves inside, and schedule is dependent on gym availability. Typically, cheer will run until December pending qualification to Nationals.
  3. When are football games played?
  • Games are on Sundays.  Games times are between 8am and 4pm.
  4. Where does football practice take place?
  • 121 Glen Rd. (behind Town Hall)
  5. Where are games on Sundays?
  • Home games are at 121 Glen Rd or Wilmington High School
  6. What equipment is provided to football players on behalf of WPW?
  • Helmet
  • Shoulder Pads
  • Practice Jersey
  • Game Jersey
  • Game Pants
  7. What equipment must each family purchase for football?
  • Mouth Guard
  • Cleats
  • Practice Pants(white)
  8. What paperwork is required for Football Players and Cheerleaders
  • Original Birth Certificate
  • Physical Dated in 2024

  9. Do you offer family discounts and refunds?

• Each year fees and family discounts may be approved by WPW Board of Directors.  
• Discount codes offered can't be combined with any other offer including family discounts.
• If discounts are offered they are per family and not per player or participant
• No Refunds
